As leaders, we are in the Decision-Making Business. We face important decisions and constant distractions daily; some even have the potential to make or break our businesses. With 30+years as an entrepreneur and leader, I’ve likely experienced what you may be feeling right now. I felt the full weight of every issue and opportunity; when to grow, how much to grow, how to grow, employee acquisition, management, and development, financial decisions, work/home balance, what’s best for my employees and customers, what’s best for my family, and even what's best for me? As leaders, we must overcome distractions and stay focused on the important decisions in order to be effective and successful.

Over my career, I’ve contemplated “What makes us as leaders successful, and what makes us feel satisfied at the end of the day that we’re making a positive difference?” Along the way, I picked up some wisdom that has guided me from living a life of success to living a life of significance. I focus on six areas that are driving me there. I call them my “Six Pillars of Living a Life of Significance:”

 I discovered profound support through a Vistage Peer Advisory Board. Being a Vistage member significantly changed the way I think, do business, and live my life.
